LEAVE IT OPEN

Updated: Dec 11, 2022

A series of loosely autobiographical films that use collage techniques to re-create the volatile and fluctuating spaces of the Romanian everyday. Images of social unrest are intertwined with permaculture gardening and holographic visions.

At the invitation of the Center for European Union, Transatlantic and Trans-European Space Studies ( CEUTTSS) at Virginia Tech I have curated a program of 4 of my documentary films plus an additional 5 minute video introduction. The screening was also suported by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union and included the world premiere of Level V, a film made specifically to adress the transnational aspects of my work and my identity. I have also made a trailer and a poster for the event. Karl Precoda was my conversation partner and moderator for the QnA that followed the screening.
